Two no-longer-young men on bicycles (Pothilato in Greek) tell their love story in a 1980s Italy as the backdrop for this on-the-road show.

Often exhausted and always hungry, they cycled through Puglia, Calabria, Sicily and Greece, enchanted by the mythical Mediterranean hospitality: everywhere open doors, big smiles, incomprehensible dialects and fabulous food, laughter and jokes and theatre of misunderstanding.

SYNOPSIS: Are you sure that, while you are falling asleep, there is no one in the room? Zez never pays attention,
plays two accordion notes before going to sleep. And one night a disturbing presence appears.

Every evening at 7:30 pm, one or more actors in residence at Luna nel Pozzo will offer a story for the little ones. Every evening, a new story, a surprise for us too!

FOOD
Our imaginative and friendly chefs will carefully and lovingly prepare natural and ethically sourced food… some of it from our ultra-organic and biodiverse garden (we invite you to visit!), dishes you can choose how to compose!

FAMILY GAMES
Before the evening’s main performance, we’ll dedicate a space for group play with the entire audience to win tickets for subsequent evenings, but above all, to transform “the audience” into a new small, temporary community that celebrates being together.

SENSORY THEATRE
Not a theatre to be observed, but to be experienced with all the senses. Paths to be experienced, where those who participate are not spectators, but rather engaged, invited, and welcomed travellers.
A living space, designed to evoke images and memories. An attempt to connect with what moves beneath the surface, an invitation to slow down, to lose yourself, to let something emerge.

LIBERO PENSATOIO
The Free Thinking Room is an octagonal space, built in wood, reproducing the shape that Frederick II gave to Castel del Monte. That number 8 repeated over and over again in its structure, which encloses infinity when written horizontally, speaks to us of a place where space and time open up to essential questions concerning us and the world. And where we think together, as Frederick II did with the wise of every culture. We have done this with the “thinking big” children over the past months. Bringing the Free Thinking to the Moon in the Well allows us to experience the wonder with adults and children thinking together, welcomed by the silence of nature around and the sky above.
We will be collecting your questions on the days of the Festival, and on the nights from 3 to 6 August the Free Thinking Room will open for a maximum of 25 people aged 8 to ∞.

PROXIMITY THEATRE
Many guests will be present for this engaging and exciting form of theatre. You’ll discover how conversation can touch the depths of each of us with The Hairdresser. You’ll taste coffee like you’ve never tasted it before with Hector’s Coffee Manual. You’ll encounter your subconscious with the Shrink-Head of Piazza, and perhaps find your precious object lost a thousand years ago in the Warehouse of Lost Things.

We have been organising this festival for twenty-three years and our experience has led us to realise that shows, when they are well done and well thought out, become a means of travelling through time… children can think like grown-ups! And adults choose to become children again, if only for a moment. With COME SEME all this is possible.

Clowning and improvisational theatre for everyone

The clown hasn’t the faintest idea of what will happen to him on stage… he doesn’t even know the story of the show, can’t imagine the set that will welcome him, doesn’t know the other actors! All he knows is that your fantasies will be the galactic guide to … exploding into a new fairy tale of fireworks.

FINAL RITE
At half past midnight, we’ll say goodbye with a little ritual: a song, a dance, a fire, a story. A different and special way to say goodnight.

Clowns, acrobats, actors, puppeteers, dancers and musicians, sunset songs over the roofs of an ancient trullo, tarantella and tammurriate on the threshing floor, contemporary and interactive dance, French dances and music from around the world.

The whole audience is involved in a feast of sounds and colours.

The amphitheatre will host a circus show where extraordinary artists will give us incredible emotions.

It will continue with an acoustic concert and a shadow theatre show to herald the night with charm and magic.

It will end with a dawn concert to greet the new dawn with auteur music.
